Plant Dallas
Church planters and pastors at the Strengthening the Arms of Collaboration gathering at Park Cities Presbyterian Church

About Plant Dallas

Born in friendship and prayer.

Pastors from across the city, Baptist, Presbyterian, Anglican, Pentecostal, and more, sharing meals and admitting a simple truth: we can't reach Dallas alone.

Where it started

Meals, not meetings

Those conversations became the soil Plant Dallas grows from. The dream is not simply more churches. It is gospel presence in every neighborhood, every language, and every generation.

We're honest about where we are: at the beginning, forming relationships and building trust, learning to crawl before we walk.

Our mission

Plant Dallas unites churches, pastors, and leaders to invest in planting, supporting, and sustaining healthy, gospel-centered communities across Dallas County.

Our vision

A collaborative movement of healthy churches and leaders bringing gospel presence to every neighborhood of Dallas County.

What we believe about this work

Six convictions

Postures, not programs. The kind of churches and leaders we want to become together.

01

Multiply

Every church can play a part. Multiplication isn't about size. It's about obedience.

02

Encourage

A city that is for new churches, where no planter walks alone.

03

Support

More than half of new churches close within five years. We help them last.

04

Redeem

Declining and empty church buildings can be reborn as centers of gospel life.

05

Immigrant churches

Some of the best future planters are already here, worshiping in dozens of languages.

06

Spiritual leaders

Seasoned pastors walking alongside young planters in a fruitful next chapter.

Who's welcome at the table

Christ-centered churches of every tradition, united around the historic Christian faith as expressed in the Nicene Creed.

Together

Non-partisan, with no doctrinal or practice extremes.

Local

Focused solely on the 31 cities of Dallas County.

Honest

Transparent finances, clear communication, and mutual accountability.
