About Sam
Pastor, coach, and convener
Sam Chacko has spent more than 20 years in pastoral ministry in Dallas. In 2011 he planted LOFT City Church in Richardson, where he still serves as Lead Pastor. LOFT has grown into a multiethnic congregation with many members who came to faith from Hindu, Buddhist, and atheist backgrounds, and it has sent more than a dozen people out to plant churches or serve on church staffs.
As Director of Startup Coaching with Stadia Church Planting, Sam walks with planters in the season before they launch. Since 2021 he has coached over 80 church planters throughout the nation. He holds a seminary degree and trained in hospital chaplaincy, and he brings that pastoral care to every planter he coaches.
Sam is the son of an immigrant pastor from South India who co-planted and pastored a church in Philadelphia for 40 years. As Executive Director of Plant Dallas, he gathers pastors and planters across Dallas County so that new churches start well and no planter works alone. Sam and Ann have been married since 2003 and have three children: Nicole, Timothy, and Micah.
